Axel Braun, according to his web site (www.axelbraun.net), is an ambitious half Italian half American young man speaking fluently several (five if I remember correctly) languages, studies filmmaking at a prestigious American university and takes part at the club of the most intelligent people. That's fine. However he should keep his hands away from making porn movies.

In Cadillac Highway the non-sex scenes are better made than the sex scenes, like in an average Hollywood movie. So the photographer was not an amateur guy, but I did not like at all the way he shot the sex scenes (certainly he followed the directorâ??s instructions): no close ups, boring camera angles, and poor editing. The scenes are too long and boring. Perhaps the most interesting scene was the fifth one but the rest is really nothing. The prettiest girls appear in the first scene, a lesbian one where Ron Jeremy plays himself as porn director, shame that these blond beauties donâ??t get some fat cocks. The third one could have been directed by Skeeter as well, the difference is that this last uses more lights.

To sum up I propose you to rent an Adamo or a Lecastel movie instead of this.

I'm afraid that I completely agree. This film was my first major disappointment with Private USA.

It's not Skeeter-style gonzo, this time, but it's just as bland - no different, really, from a lot of other hum-ho American features pumped out by lesser lights than Private.

It's a shame that those good-looking babes in the first scene didn't get to suck on Ronnie's own fat cock... Has he finally retired from performing, altogether? I really wanted this movie to be better than it is: Ron is a giant of the porn industry, and the occasion of his finally crossing paths with Private ought to have been something special! "From 'Debbie Does Dallas' to 'Cadillac Highway'"? - I'd wanted to post a topic like that, but I found that 'Cadillac Highway' doesn't really justify a celebration.

Of the U.S. directors who've worked for Private, Nic Cramer, John Millerman, Michael Ninn and Michael Raven ('Delilah') remain my favourites: they all have that extra bit of pzaz which makes Private Private.

The challenge facing Private USA at present is surely that it's got to find a way of making its product 'a cut above', something which, once more, is distinctive, stylish and very, very sexy...

Sorry to grouch, but there it is! - On a more positive note, my mail order Special Edition copy of 'Millionaire' has just arrived, and I'm fully expecting to be cheered up by that!
