I'd like to request to private that they release all three films of the tower series in one dvd pack; I still think it one of the greatest trilogy they've done and some of pierre's best work. Back me anyone else who agrees.

You can get the tower 1 on dvd, but 2+3 come in one, but don't have all the scenes ...

I have The Tower 2+3, but I don't think there are any scenes missing, in fact I think it even has the original ending. Maybe there are different versions around.

There are definitely scenes missing, as documented by a few reviews available through iafd/amri.

Nothing compared to Golden Triangle, that doesn't even exist anymore in his full version (on tape)

The whole story is pretty volatile material.
Hence the cuts and then oblivion.

in may have been a 13 year old girl in the story, but the woman was obviously over 18, she looked almost thirty and it isn't really rape when the asian loves it

A golden age classic like Bad Girls has been banned for years because of similar issues.
But it got reprinted in the end.
So maybe one day, in less pc times, we'll have a proper reprint of this masterpiece.

Because Private didn't have permission to film in the hotel and there were legal issues with that as the hotel didn't want their location shown or associated with adult entertainment.

Actually the hotel I am at in Budapest has had a few porno films shot in it but I wonder if the owners know that information? Private must have deleted their censored DVD editions of 'The Tower' and its sequels after an executive decision at Tour Totem made it clear that the association with adult entertainment created by Woodman's unauthorised filming wasn't welcome and could result in legal action - ??? Naughty Pierre...!!! (The real collectors' items are the uncensored VHS versions of 'The Tower' 1-3, but if anyone is keen to get hold of the subsequent DVD editions, please see my tip-off about an internet retailer who still had them in stock a couple of weeks ago when I made my order. The DVDs were shipped promptly. Details are posted in the thread, 'THE TOWER'. Incidentally... does anyone remember the hardcore vignette which Woodman filmed under The Eiffel Tower for one of the classic video ranges...? Little does Tour Totem know that Private's removal of 'The Tower' from its catalogue has resulted in a fascination with the movie among forum regulars and a free 'plug' for the hotel in this thread!!!! Perhaps it would be better business sense for Tour Totem to 'cash in' on the cult status of 'The Tower', rather than to suppress the link. In fact, the hotel sounds like an appropriate venue for a forum get-together and some serious squabbling over a pizza order!!! (See 'Hottest Front Page Star?' in the 'Private Stars' area.) On the other hand, maybe we'd all be better off in Mako's hotel in Budapest, breakfasting with beautiful girls cast by Christoph Clark!!

Just out of interest... Does Private now have a policy of gaining up-front permission to film at all of the locations it uses - or does the adventurous practice of surreptitious porno shoots continue? Presumably the threat of legal action if permission hasn't been obtained can have costly consequences - as in this case of the deletion of an entire trilogy?

Yeah, I remember that one, Private Video Magazine 20 or 21 from memory. Classic, I believe that scene also won an award, something like most outrageous scene or such like. Actually I picked up PVM20 on cassette at some sale a couple of years ago, and when I finally put it in the VCR found out it was actually #19, most miffed, #20 is a classic :!:
