madboy, i have a question about an aspect of private writing.

there's a hot photoset of lucy lee in sex magazine #45. it carries the caption 'gypsy whore'. i know lucy's a czech, and i also know that the issue of racism against romanies is still a matter of social concern in the czech republic and slovakia - where there are large romany communites.
of course, porn and 'political correctness' aren't natural bedfellows, and stereotypes are the stock-in-trade of porn, but for private readers in eastern europe, especially, wouldn't a 'gypsy whore' caption be potentially offensive - similar in effect, perhaps, to any uneasiness that the use of the 'n' word in a caption about a black girl might cause in america? what's your view on this?

anyway, it's always good to see lucy in action...

Bawdy.. the first Private movie I saw was Private Reality 3 - From Behind Is OK... I was totally taken with Sophie Evans! Changed my wallpaper, downloaded images, her scene in the elevator is just great.. did you see it? Sophie rocks! :D

Hi baskkk - I don't think that the term 'gypsy' can be compared with the 'n' word, which is quite clearly a racist term. I think 'gypsy' is a term implied for a traveller, not a racist term applied to all Romanians living in Czech Republic and Slovakia... So in this context I don't think that this particular photshoot and text is sending out the wrong signals... Private would not dream of trying to offend anyone in a racist manner and sincerely hope that noone takes any of the writing the wrong way... hope that answers the question...

hi, madboy. i have another (more whimsical) question about lucy lee. in 'reality' #19: 'beds of sin', the 19 year-old czech brunette we've come to know and love as 'lucy lee' is named in the credits as 'lucy', while in the cast pages the full name 'lucy lee' is used to identify a quite different girl who appears in a scene set in beverly hills. since this other girl is an oriental american, the full name when applied to her appears to work as a pun on the name of hollywood star lucy liu, who has the same nationality / ethnic identity.
does this oriental american girl have an established porn career in which she uses the name 'lucy lee', beyond her work for private? or is she simply "borrowing" this stage name from the czech brunette for her appearances in private's 'reality' series?
i've noticed generally that certain stage names, both forenames and surnames, recur quite often - or variations of them do so (e.g. anita, diana, nikky/niky, more/moore, wild/wilde). this potentially could lead to confusion, but i suppose that recycling popular names from time to time can help to raise expectations about new girls and excite interest in them. i suppose, too, that there's a limit to the number of forenames or surnames which have a porn-star ring to them.

Hi baskkk, I checked & Private has 2 Lucy Lees in the database... the Oriental Lucy Lee has only appeared in one Private Movie - Reality 19... not sure if she goes by another name elsewhere, but that's the only name she's registerd with at Private... and the decision to call the Oriental Lucy, Lucy Lee for sure is a play on the name of Lucy Liu, so Lucy Lee had to become Lucy. Hahahahahah.

But Baskkk said the Chech Lucy Lee is in Reality #19
and Madboy said the Asian Lucy Lee is in Reality #19.

So someone must be wrong or both are in the same movie.

When I look at the cover of reality #19 it looks that Baskkk is right.
In which production is the Asian (korean) Lucy Lee?

In the shop database there is Czech Lucy Lee still mentioned Lucy Lee and not Lucy.

I know Madboy has moved on from Private, but, given his touching comments about Madrid in March 2004, this seemed like an apt thread in which to say that I, as a Londoner, am really impressed by the way that the people of London, too, have been coping with the worst ever terrorist attack on our city. Londoners have been dealing with last Thursday's tragedy as best we can, and carrying on with stoicism and calm resolution.
