I don't know of any Private photosets of Sandra Iron, but as she is supposed to be "Girl of the Month" on Private.com, this may change. Looks like some starlets do few if any photosets for mags, such as Sandra, but maybe that's because she's so busy making films (over 17 at last count, recently saw her in "Body Shock", great POV type scene, it's hot! I think she gets better and better all the time!). Celia Blanco seems to be the opposite and only does mags for Private, I would love to see her in a movie, please Private cast her now ... please ... :lol:

Romagnoli's 'Sex, Lies and Internet' is also an excellent movie for Sandra. She has no less than three scenes in this one, and she brings to the performances her customary zeal and gusto. I love her wide-eyed stare and those intimate little snarling looks of lust which she gives the viewer in close-up. Sandra has an incredible body which just doesn't stop, and Romagnoli's camera roves around her and sways about as she fucks.
I like Sandra's hairstyle in this movie, as she seems to be growing her hair again. Blonde strands fall down her forehead, flopping over her right brow slightly - I find this cute.
A couple of Sandra's scenes in 'Sex, Lies and Internet' rework past Private triumphs but they do so in Romagnoli's own unique, exciting style. Sandra's scene with David Perry in the pouring rain, suffused as it is with blue light, recalls Laura Angel's sex-in-the-rain scene in Adamo's 'Sex Shot'. Also, Sandra's scene with David in the lavatory has its precedents - enough, perhaps, to constitute a new lavatory section in the Categories area of p.com. ...? In particular, the scene ends up as a superior reworking of Gabriella Bond's scene in the Gentlemen's Restroom, from Woodman's 'Sweet Baby 2' . (This being Private, no golden showers are involved, thank goodness - just Sandra's golden body and a creamy shower of spunk to her mouth!)

By the way, I couldn't discuss 'Sex, Lies and Internet' without at least a mention of Cintia, the movie's hot blonde cover girl. She's fantastc in the film, and certainly one to watch...

It really does seem that Private lacks any real synergy between the magazine and film production departments at present, which is a shame.

On the one hand, I do understand some models will only consider hardcore magazine work (a posed DP, for example, is a world away from a real, moving one), but I think that any girl that has done a video would conversely be more than happy to do a photoset. Also, this way Private could offer potential models a package type of deal, i.e. instead of one scene or one photo shoot, they could offer a combination (or multiple combination) of the two, thus allowing greater earning potential for the model than a single shoot, and thus making the idea of working for Private even more fiscally attractive than it is already.

Names that come to mind for me are Lenka (see avatar), Katerina (Private 178 cover girl), and Lucky from Cleopatra vol. 1. These girls should have done a lot more work for Private.

Obviously, I realise that sometimes there are behind the scenes issues as to why a girl hasn't done any more work (unprofessionalism on set, or they have simply stopped doing HC material), but I do think Private has missed some opportunities of late with regards to talent...after all, if a girl is considered good enough to grace the cover of the flagship Private magazine, surely she would be just as eye-catching and customer-enticing on the cover of a Private movie?

It just seems that there are too many girls who either only do magazine or video, and not both. I believe if the respective magazine and film depts. got their heads together, both could profit. The magazine photoset creates demand for the video, and vice versa. People like to check out their favourite stars in different media, so why not give them the option?

If I use Bawdy and Celia Blanco as an example...he's obviously a big Celia fan, and would no doubt be more than happy just to look at her photo work. However, he, and possibly many others, are rabidly demanding a video shoot from this girl...they want to see her in motion, and with sound too! Thus the magazine shoots have served to create demand for a product that does not yet exist....all Private has to do is shoot it! I believe this is something Private should bear in mind...after all, there's nothing so good for business as giving the customers what they want!

There are, of course, many examples of girls who've so far worked only for magazine photoshoots but not in films, or the other way around. As far as Private products are concerned, Sandra Iron, Celia Blanco, Lenka, Lucky and Katerina are all hot cases in point. However, let's not exaggerate this. Take Triple X magazine # 55, for example - the issue whose recent addition to the p.com on-line collection ended a long hiatus with magazine updates. Michelle Wild and Cristina Bella are the big names in the issue, and each, of course, is a star in the media of both print and film. Jane Darling has a photoset, and fans can enjoy her on film too (e.g. in her scene in the Private Reality movie 'Fuck Me', which I've reviewed in the topic, 'Priority Chicks'). Maya Gold and Claudia Rossi have a photoset: Maya makes regular appearances in Private movies shot in exotic locations, while Claudia appears in 'Ocean Dream'. The magazine incudes an article on Private's movie feature of the moment, 'Cleopatra'. And compare Simony Diamond's costume in her Triple X #55 photoset with what she's wearing on the cover of the Private Reality movie, 'Double Hole': isn't that the self-same strawberry ice cream coloured hair ribbon, tied in a bow? - there's synergy for you! During the weeks in which p.com subscribers were waiting for the delayed magazine updates, the home page was stuck with the front cover images of the last mags to have been uploaded. This meant ("Oh, woe!") weeks watching none other than a mean Laura Angel staring out at us in fetish mode from the cover of Pirate # 81 - and Laura, of course, is a superstar of both screen and page!
It may be true that overall the overlap of talent between the mags and films is more hit-and-miss than it used to be in the 90s 'Woodman era'. I'm not sure that it is true, but even if it is, this is possibly because there is more Private product now than there was back then, and there is certainly a more diverse range of creative talent and styles. I'm therefore not sure, Daniel, that a general criticism of Private is justified, and perhaps we need to address this issue on a case-by-case basis. Where a favourite girl's appearance is limited to either one medium or the other, I would suggest that the best thing to do is to enquire in this forum about any up-and-coming schedules which include her, and press the case for seeing more of her!

Excellent suggestion Daniel, you've certainly won me over :!: I have the impression that Private may contract out alot of their magazine photoset work (eg. Metropol Studios, Kevin Maklin etc.) which may contribute to the situation you describe (I'm only guessing though). As I think someone may have suggested before (I'm starting to lose track of posts in our ever growing corner of cyberspace!) it would be great to see some of our favourite photographers like Kevin Maklin have a go at directing, at least a small piece in a Private Reality edition.

You're right, of course, Baskkk....I only notice the ones I'm bothered about :D ! Private can pull it off when they have a mega-feature to promote, it's just that perhaps as you suggest, I'm spoiled by the Woodman era, where there was such a huge degree of interconnectivity between print and film, purely because Pierre was shooting about 90% of it!

Bawdy is also right in that most of the photoshoots are contracted out to different studios and/or photographers, who will handle their own castings etc., rather than have talent supplied to them by Private. Indeed, how many girls who have appeared in both Private video and magazine shoots have done both by chance rather than any grand design? If it was for different directors/photographers, you can be almost certain it is by blind luck alone that they have appeared in two different media for the same company.

For example, a girl might shoot a scene for Pierre Woodman....it could end up in a Private movie, or it could end up in a Hustler one. She certainly doesn't know where or under what label it will surface! Same with the photoshoots too. I guess there was such a greater degree of synchronicity back then purely because Woodman shoots both video and stills, and he only had one real major customer to sell them too as well.

I guess this pic is shot on the set of the Private Penthouse movie Without Limits (http://shop.private.com/shop/product.asp?catalog_name=DVD_EU&category_name=&product_id=1003746&searchtext=&lang=EN&resid=8254&subval=navbar_shop&locale=EU) in which Sandra had the leading role.

There was no reaction from the Private staff, Maybe we should ask them again?

On the 'Join Now' page of Private.com, open to non-members, there is an extensive alphabetical list of Private models. If you click on a name, a medium-sized glamour pic of the girl appears. It would be nice if all these pics were included in a larger size somewhere in the members' area, together with the Pic Of The Day archive and whole sets of glamour shots... perhaps under 'Stars'... or at least to have 'Glamour' as a frequently recurring category in the 'Categories' section. Overall, though, I think the balance of content should remain overwhelmingly weighted towards hardcore!

Sandra Iron and Veronika Vanoza were both banned from Whichpornstar because a group of bikers called Helldrivers were so besotted with them that they repeated voted them into the Number One and Number Two slot for months, monopolising the voting.
