I'm very disappointed in the Private staf.
I've sent several personal messages (last months to Rikky) to them, to put their attention to some mistakes in the shop.

But most correction aren't made.
Rikky's reaction was: We are busy with other important things or I don't understand what you mean. I've explained several times what I mean. Now he even don't answering my messages.
Some mistake examples:
I've put his attention to this (http://shop.private.com/shop/custsear.asp?searchtype=modelnumber&searchtext=35463&lang=EN&resid=0&subval=&locale=US) actresscard. Private have linked three actresses (originally actress numbers 2,3 and 7) to the same card. Ricky's answer: "I don't understand exactly what you want to say". I think everyone can see immediatey that there's something wrong here. The originally links to the products with this actresses have disappearred.

Here (http://shop.private.com/shop/custsear.asp?searchtype=modelnumber&searchtext=35072&lang=EN&resid=0&subval=&locale=US) is also a problem. But it isn't changed yet.

There are a lot more mistakes and lacks I've found. But it's really frustrating that if you put their attention to mistakes, there's nothing done with it.

In my private life I've the slogan:
If you have time to make mistakes, you must always have time to correct them. If you don't have time to make corrections, you must not make mistakes.

Chasing Frederica

Dutchy, I've followed your link here and I see what you mean. I notice that at present there are two actress cards on the same page, both for the same girl, and repeating the same information and photograph. The girl's various Private stage names are all listed on both cards, the only difference being that the headline name on one card is Janet Peron while the headline name on the second card is Jade Taylor. If this is a problem, I guess it has more to do with a need for presentational 'tidying up' than with accuracy of information.

Another one of this girl's listed stage names is Frederica. Dutchy, I owe you some thanks for this link! I'd never before connected the identity of one of my favourite photoset girls, Frederica, (http://www.privatemembers.com/member/pht/viewpic_pht.asp?bigpic=exist&No=486_4&isbigpic=yes&page=1) with Janet Peron - a girl who is given several movie credits on her page at the Private Shop! I'd always wondered whether Frederica was one of those girls who does only photoset work and not films! I'm glad to find out I was wrong, and I kick myself for not having paid enough attention before! After reading your post I went scurrying away to the one film on Janet Peron's list which I actually own, 'Paradise Island', and I found to my delight that this girl, the girl getting a beach fuck in Scene 2, is indeed Frederica! And now I can see, too, that it's Frederica on the cover sleeve of 'Forbidden Games' (http://shop.private.com/shop/product.asp?catalog_name=DVD_UK&category_name=&product_id=1016087&searchtext=&lang=EN&resid=8254&subval=navbar_shop&locale=UK) - the brunette cover girl whose thumbnail image has occasionally drawn my eye to this title as I've been browsing the Private Shop.

But this new-found connection has thrown up another issue... and this time it does look like a problem to do with consistency of information! In the 'Extra Materials' 'Cast' pages of 'Paradise Island' Frederica is given a movie credit for 'Calling A Gigolo', but her page in the Private Shop doesn't give her a credit for this film. I looked up 'Calling a Gigolo' in the Shop and there's no mention of Janet / Jade / Frederica. I followed all the actress links from the Shop page for 'Calling A Gigolo' and I found that every actress card linked to this movie includes a photograph. None of the girls listed for 'Calling A Gigolo' appears to be Frederica, although I suppose she does look a bit like the beautiful gigolo girl Daria (http://shop.private.com/shop/custsear.asp?searchtype=modelnumber&searchtext=35004&lang=EN&resid=8254&subval=navbar_shop&locale=UK). Can anyone say for sure whether Frederica is in this movie? Otherwise I'll assume that she isn't and that the error is on the 'Paradise Island' 'Cast' page. Or maybe I'll buy 'Calling A Gigolo', check for myself, and lust over Daria if Frederica isn't there!

Update: the Eurobabeindex (http://www.eurobabeindex.com/sbandoindex/janet.html) gives Frederica credit for a dp in 'Calling A Gigolo', so it must be, after all, that the problem is with the Private Shop having incomplete information.

Words of wisdom for life in general (with no particular reference to the Private Shop, whose customer service is excellent!)... This sentiment is definitely not an ancient Chinese proverb, but it sounds kinda cool! :-)

While we will endeavor to fix any errors that you find, I know that before Dutchy you were sending lots of things and we just may not be able to fix them all as fast as you would like.

We are in the middle of building a new shop and all information will be reviewed then, in the meantime send any errors to Mermelade, but please be patient! We are really busy right now and so things like this may take a bit longer to fix. Which of course does not mean that we don't think it is important to fix :-)

Seriously: although odd irregularities in cast listings may exercise we buffs, we musn't "miss the wood for the trees" (or should that be "miss the woodman for the trees"? - another saying which definitely isn't an ancient Chinese proverb!). The Private Shop is a great way to buy - informative, user-friendly, reliable and speedy. And if the Private people are busy re-building it, and reviewing all their data, we can look forward to even more exciting times ahead.
