Just browsed through the competition's forum. I noticed some things that are different from this forum and that might give some inspiration.

• Better linking to the main site: The upper navigation bar leads to the main sections of twistys.com. It may be trivial, but better links will connect forum and main site. So why not have a clickable image map instead of a simple image and a link that takes me to a 'Lucy Belle' page at private.com when I click at Lucy's image. A link to the movies section where I can check out Cirdan's video recommendations would be great, too.
• Teasers / appetizers: There is a Twistys forum "Hot Off the Presses" where new models get introduced and small photosets are being presented. These images should also be viewable by non-subscribers; maybe some of them will subscribe to Private.com. Apart from that, fresh images will always produce comments.
• A forum just for technical questions and discussions.
• An 'anything else' forum where forum members discuss politics, sports, climate change,...
• Model presence: Just by browsing through a few threads of the Twistys forum I noticed at least two models (Kayden Kross, Malloy Martini) who are participating in various forum discussions. Not only is this very entertaining for the rest of us, but the girls use the forum for self-promotion. I think there's nothing bad about that. Would be great making sheep's eyes at Gitta Blonde and receiving an answer from her in the same discussion thread.

  (This is a point we've been discussing some months ago: we were talking about the Private blogs that started with a bang and ended with a whisper (except for Private Eye). My opinion then was and still is that you need people who really want to tell about themselves and the things they do. True believers, so to say. It won't be sufficient to put a 'you have to be a blogger' paragraph into the girl's contracts. You will have to engage chatty people with enough self-confidence and time for maintaining a blog. Difficult but certainly rewarding.)

• A sticky thread for suggestions for making Private.com / the Private forum better.

Once talking about improvements, I would like to see some of these at Private.com:

• 'Treats': A very clever concept at Twisty's; one of the girls is sort of moderator for the web site, introducing other models (usually by video; Jelena Jensen is a great talent in doing so), putting some personal touch into the site etc. A great way of promoting known and new talents.
• More infos in photo sets: I want to know the date of shooting, the photographer's name, the location, the name of the movie, or, if it's an exclusive set a little hint: 'a Private exclusive set'.
• BIGGER RESOLUTION of photos, magazines etc.
• More model info: the model pages at private.com aren't that bad, but I would like to have a much more detailed model record in the member's section with links to all stories and movies. Some personal info by the model would be fine, too.
• Better presentation of content: technically said, the only data structure known to Private.com is the sequential list. We have lists of photo stories and lists of movies. If you are looking for a special shot or photo, you will have to search it manually. When, for example, I'm looking for a book at amazon, I not only get a better search interface, but also a much better presentation of data that offers me connections to everything I'm interested in. So why not having a search interface that lets me select things like 'look for similar models like me', 'look for DD blondes' etc. Additionally, I would like to have categories like 'glamour photosets', 'lesbian', 'gang bangs' which give a result set of presorted shots and movies of the selected category.

Mason, thanks for all your recomendations. Actually all your points make sense. We've already thought about some solutions. The only thiong is that we are not going to create more forums to keep it simple. General chat can be usefull for any kind of conversation.
And of course we plan to insert more content and populate the albums section with some really hot stuff.

That sounds really exciting! Actually my list of suggestions was not so difficult to compile; I've subscribed to some other adult sites and I'm able to compare. Some sites offer excellent photo content, but lack in videos; others are offering videos only and lack some kind of 'identity' with recognizable faces and stories. Then others have great photo and video content (another Scandinavian porn pioneer), but totally lack community functions like this forum or at least a comment function on photo sets and videos. And finally other sites have great personalities, but lack technical equipment or just money. I think Private has it all, but Private could do much better.

I think most of the folks posting comments here regard their stars as being goddesses and want them to have an appropriate temple.
