In this thread I'm posting an edited collection of my notes / ephemeral reviews, written since joining the forum. It's not an exhaustive collection, but, after the forum migration, I wanted to copy a lot of my more detailed posts into one place - partly so that I could remove dead links and partly for ease of reference. Some of the material which follows arose from forum conversations, so thanks goes, amongst many others, to Flashboy, Bawdy, GregandSarah and Dutchy. I haven't presented the material in any particular order, and not all of the movies I review are still available to buy. I don't necessarily still agree with everything I've said on the forum over the past six years, but I hope this 'retrospective' forms an interesting and entertaining commentary on the Private archive.
Although links made to images from the last incarnation of Private.com no longer work and have been cut, I will gradually set about attaching images to illustrate many of these re-posts. Mostly, these images will be appropriate screenscaps I've made personally from the DVDs under review. This collection covers ephemeral material written between April 2004 and May 2010, lifted from the context of the original threads. It IS #7, though, cos I've checked out the original vid.!) Kai Nobel's co-star in the scene is called Sissy. Sissy is named in the DVD Cast information and in the Private Shop listings, although in the title sequence of the video scene she's called Morell. Unhelpfully, Kai Nobel is listed in the Private Shop as "Cajsia", while "Kai Nobela" is referenced only as the name by which she's "also known" - even though this name was the one by which she was principally recognised by her Private fans. 'Pizza Delivery' was shot in England and directed by Lindsey Honey. The Thunderbirds gag is wonderfully delivered. The scene opens with a panning shot across three guys slumped on sofas with their heads buried in mags while having a wank. Has Sandy Style yet done enough scenes for a 'Private Life of...'?
